This full-time position is to lead an established team in a fast-paced environment as an account manager at our customer’s manufacturing facilities in and around Germantown, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will manage on-site customer support of day-to-day functions related to inventory levels in computerized industrial dispensing equipment (AutoCrib Systems) and effective delivery of our integrated supply services. He/she will also learn about products used by our customers to support cost-savings projects and additions of new products based on customer inquiries and growth.
Responsibilities of the team include:
Receiving, stocking, repackaging, and reconciling industrial tooling and supplies in computerized storage machines
Maintenance of inventory databases
Serving as key “on-site” point-of-contact for our customer, problem-solving operational issues and communicating resolution with our customers in a timely and responsive manner
Interfacing with purchasing and maintenance personnel at customer facility to improve efficiencies and reduce cost
Effectively interfacing with our vendor to coordinate transition of new products for our customer
Periodic scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of vending storage machines
Training of customer site personnel in the use of vending storage equipment
Participating in continuous improvement projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2-3 years working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to inventory processes for industrial products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, reliable team player to work independently on site
Strong customer service orientation and pro-active problem solving
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with MRO / maintenance supplies in a manufacturing facility is a plus
Strong experience in Excel; experience with pivot tables is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important
Project experience is helpful
High school diploma or GED at minimum; additional education a plus.
