Job Description

Application Developer (Mobile) II, and III

The application development teams at Ent are not the boring development teams you would expect at a financial institution. Our Credit Union competes with big banks and up and coming FinTechs. We use modern Agile and DevOps practices on a modern platform to build applications that make a difference in our member's lives.

What you'll be doing


  • Mobile application development for iOS and/or Android.

  • You'll work on a cross functional scrum team, with all the necessary skills and talents to be able to complete features that delight our members

  • Participate in team design meetings, and provide input on proposed solutions


Qualifications

What you should have

Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study. Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa.

Minimum Work Experience:

Level II

(Required) 2+ years' of related IT industry experience

(Required) 1+ years' experience with mobile application development

Level III

(Required) 4+ years' of related IT industry experience

(Required) 2+ years' experience with mobile application development

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Level II and III


  • Experience with either:

    • iOS Application Development

      • Swift

      • Xcode

      • iOS SDK



    • Android Application Development

      • Java and/or Kotlin

      • Android Studio

      • Android SDK





  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Object Oriented programming.

  • Must be comfortable working in highly collaborative environments.

  • Must be able to conduct presentations in group settings in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Strong customer service, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.

  • Must be able to learn new and emerging concepts very quickly.

  • Must be able to maintain good productivity in developing efficient code in a very timely manner, with defect rates kept to a minimum.

  • Experience with advance source control systems, such as git.

  • (Preferred) Experience with Scrum software development.

Environmental, Physical, and Psychological Requirements:

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. Must be flexible with schedule to work overtime as needed based on demands of the membership. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs."

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for Level II: $68,744.00 - $90,230.40 (IT-14) This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based upon performance

Salary range for Level III: $80,475.20 - $105,622.40 (IT-15) This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based upon performance
