Job Description

As a Solution Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that Elanco Manufacturing and Quality IT (MQIT) solutions for Facilities, Utilities, Maintenance and Engineering (FUME) are delivered with quality, on time, and on budget. While primary responsibility will be focused on the Engineering domains, secondary and back-up responsibilities may also exist in other domains. The Manufacturing and Quality IT Team supports company critical solutions that enable our business partners to deliver, support, and protect our most essential assets. This position will report to the Director – Manufacturing and Quality IT.

• Accountable for Service Management and Solution Delivery of operational maintenance, enhancements, and projects in the functional or technology area. 


• Responsible for the support, testing, and creation of Integrations between assigned  FUME solutions and other Platforms


• Manage the demand and capacity management process between the managed service provider and functional/technology area. Coordinate creation of work or change orders.


• Partner with local site and Global Engineering business SME's to prioritize enhancements, service, and support initiatives for the service provider.


• Manage resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, with appropriate quality.


• Eliminate project barriers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.


• Ensure effective communications across FUME business areas, MQIT, and service providers.


• Manage the release and deployment strategy for each Engineering and other assigned systems or projects.


• Ensure supported business areas achieve and realize value from IT investments.


• Manage system support and continuous improvement.


• Quality minded and adherence to policy procedures and apply appropriately.


• Manage technical resources/contractors that support area system solutions.


• Maintain adherence to solution specific plans and procedures for system administration/security.


• Manage vendor relationships and adherence to deliverables, including support processes


• Serve as Tier 3 support for assigned solutions.


• Potential solutions include: SAP EAM Monitoring, Seeq, Eschbach, Prometheus, Serialization, Synovos.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree


• Minimum 3+ years of experience in System Configuration & Data Quality and/or Business Process Engineering & Information Systems Integration


• Previous CSV/CSQ experience implementing, validating, and maintaining GxP systems and associated documentation
