Supplier Management Intern (Summer 2022) at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC in Spartanburg, South Carolina

Job Description:

Responsible for supporting operational Leads and Supplier management specialist with projects, reporting and additional tasks as described below:
• Reporting- Conducts data processing in SAP i.e. running weekly and daily reports
• Support and implements supplier interface
• Training Documents- Ensure training documents and department website are up-to -date

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Reporting- Conducts data processing in SAP i.e. running weekly and daily parts availability reports
• Support and implements supplier interface
• Training Documents- Ensure training documents and department website are up-to -date
• Updates training Documents and improves training structure
• Improve Advance Shipping Notification

• Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or similar.
• Basic knowledge of automotive industry and in project management.
• Team work, self-initiative, proactive, assertiveness and good communication skills.
• Ability to create reports, charts and presentations with Office tools. (Good skills with excel and Power Point). position.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE 5/9/22 - 8/12/22.
