The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a 3M HIS Managed Services Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Ensure SLA's are achieved and expectations are met

  • Ensure that agreed upon processes are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery

  • Support the team process and participate on cross-functional, Scrum, and Six Sigma teams

  • Handle account escalations when appropriate, and provide executive client/3M leadership communication as needed

  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

  • Provides project oversight for System Updates, and other projects as needed

  • Create and maintain project documentation, as well as other project materials as required

  • Design and implement customer reports and dashboards

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and eight (8) years of experience in Customer Support


  • Five (5) years of customer service experience


  • Three (3) years of technical support experience


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Functional knowledge of technical concepts - Networking, Server/client applications, Citrix, MS SQL, & IIS


  • Working knowledge of internal 3M HIS product portfolio


  • Exhibit excellent customer communication and management skills - written, verbal and in-person


  • Embrace a challenging and changing business and process environment


  • Creative in approach and not scared to get into the details and work hands on with the technology


  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point


  • Understanding of health care industry, Health Information Systems environments, as well as interfaces (HL7, XML, etc.)


Location: Silver Spring, MD or Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
