This position is located in Berkley Heights, USA, reporting into the Enterprise Segment within the Go to Market Team.  As part of the sales organization the Portfolio Specialist will be working with the financial sellers to proactively manage the active lease portfolio with responsibilities in identifying mid-term opportunities, and negotiating end of term options with the customer in conjunction with the HPEFS sales force. With the responsibly of residual recovery and increasing portfolio profitability; while supporting the customers end of lease decision process through effective use of upgrades, renewals, buyouts, and equipment transitions offerings. Additionally, looking for Asset Upcycling and Certified Preowned opportunities within the portfolio and working with specialty sellers to close these out.

KEY TASKS


  • Develop relationships with customer base and collaborating with HPEFS Sales Team, Strategic Business Partners, and internal teams within HPEFS to identify all portfolio opportunities

  • Notifying customers of EOT options and the ability to prepare pricing and quotations to support effective sales strategy consistent with account plan and quota

  • The ability to develop a forecast management funnel pipeline to include analyzing and reporting deal profitability

  • Proactive portfolio management of ongoing pipeline of portfolio opportunities for stated territory to deliver monthly forecast for Revenue and Margin

  • Proactive engagement around Asset Upcycling opportunities and Certified Preowned opportunities within the lease portfolio.

  • Ensure all processing of accepted pricing is accomplished within customer and business expectations; and completed with accuracy within the targeted profitably

  • End to End Team engagement -  collaborating across the Service Delivery Organization and Go to Market Organization to support EOL lifecycle management

  • Ensure audit and SOA compliance at all times

  • Keep up with current market trends and market information, in particular in relation to HPEFS’ value proposition

  • Understand, foresee and manage all risks to the business

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED


  • Moderate knowledge of IT, financial services, and leasing industry with customer negotiation, contract negotiation, and sales experience a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service through strong communication and consultative selling skills with an understanding of the customer needs while negotiating on behalf of HPEFS

  • Experience with all end of lease pricing strategies and a strong understanding of residual value recovery

  • Ability to work independently, assess priorities, multi-task, time sensitive and understand sense of urgency.

  • Advanced skill set in organizational time management; analytical processing; and excellent written and verbal communication

  • Creative problem solving and strong analytical skill set

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, and Qlikview

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Typically 3-5+ years’ experience with a proven track record

  • University degree with equivalent work experience in leasing industry; advanced degree is a plus
