We are looking for an Assistant Director of Operations! The ideal candidate will have Assistant Director or Director level Front Office Management experience in a unionized environment. OnQ and Housekeeping experience strongly preferred.

What will I be doing?

As Assistant Director Operations in our Rooms Division, your focus would be on Front Office and Guest Services, but the ideal candidate needs to be flexible with responsibilities and learning all Rooms Operations, including Housekeeping. The position is responsible for overseeing all Rooms Division operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Lead, direct and manage daily hotel operations including, but not limited to hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, managing guest survey (SALT) performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation
• Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurements
• Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficiencies
• Implement and manage hotel's daily quality process to include, but not limited to, communicating goals, empowering team members, managing service recovery techniques and problem resolution and measuring satisfaction
• Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly department heads and managers, to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, providing professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
