This position is responsible for supervising and directing Eclipse Operations Specialists. Eclipse is Irby’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool. This role will assist monitoring Eclipse Queues, sales management tools, and other software resources provided. Based on needs provide field assistance and ensure Specialist support to assigned branch locations, overseeing each assigned branch’s process flows to ensure the branch is current and running efficiently.  Use Queues, Dashboards, and Reports to identify areas that need improvement and work with, remotely and onsite as needed, Branch Management and reporting Specialists to move the branch within goaled metrics. Provide Eclipse training and daily support and with implementing new processes.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop Eclipse Operations Specialists to support Irby Utilities in its operational objectives.


• Ensure Specialist team works effectively with branches to improve the profitability, productivity, and cash flow by utilizing various Eclipse Queues, Dashboards, and Tools; as well as providing training.


• Identifying branches that need assistance, focusing on areas that will have the most impact on improving overall efficiency; review weekly all assigned branches with Specialists utilizing the various tools provided and schedule appropriate follow-ups with action plans.


• Coach associates on how to provide useful and specific data to managers, identifying areas of focus and aiding process improvement and problem resolution.


• Provide Eclipse and other software training for new employees and existing employees both within the Eclipse team and in field-level positions.


• Offer daily, regular, and ad hoc field assistance to assigned branches to problem solve local and global ERP issues.


• Assist onsite and remotely in new branch startups and implementation of new processes and procedures.


• Document, train and implement new or revised Eclipse procedures as communicated by Sonepar US.


• Identify standardization opportunities among Irby Utilities branches as well as within Sonepar Operating Companies.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as basic math skills.


• Proficient record-keeping techniques and report preparation


• Work cooperatively with others as a team player, providing training and direction to direct reports.


• Meet schedules and timelines.


• Work confidentially with discretion.


• Ability to use a personal computer and understand various software.


• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.


• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
