Principal - Experience Design at Infosys Limited in New York, New York

Job Description:

As a Creative Director , this position will lead cross-disciplinary design teams at Infosys Design and Innovation Center. You will bridge Strategy, Digital Product Design, and Design Production (UX and Visual Design). You will be an advocate of the creative process and user centered design (UCD), be expert at mentoring team members, be able to set the creative vision for the design studio, and empower the team to execute efficiently at scale. You will need to have agency experience, managed large teams, and have hands-on experience launching digital products, websites and/or applications from inception through strategy, ideation/concepting, rapid prototyping, production design and delivery. Your portfolio should show applied excellence in experience design for mobile, web, digital toolkits , demonstrating how research, business needs and user needs were synthesized into compelling digital Products and experiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
  
  


• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  
  


• 7+ Years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in an agency environment.
  
  


• Experience setting the creative vision for the studio.
  
  


• Experience developing strategic relationships and leverage executive communications skills to sell in their vision for the Studio and Product ecosystem.
  
  


• Fluent in analytics, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  
  


• Expertise in digital experience design, Strategic Design, communications, and digital platforms and technologies.
  
  


• Ability to formulate and run Strategic Design workshops to establish Product vision, clarity and next steps.
  
  


• Ability to manage Agile teams executing across multiple programs.
  
  


• Experience establishing skill sets of team members and deploying them to execute against a Design and Innovation Agenda.
  
  


• Expertise in Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and other prototyping tools.

• Experience developing digital experiences in the Financial Services space.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
