Job Description:

Rotex is looking for a Stock Attendant to join our team in CINCINNATI, OH . This is a second shift position, with a standard 4 day, 10-hour workday schedule, with hours from 3:30PM-2:00AM. This position pays a competitive rate per hour, with guaranteed annual increases, plus a 10% shift differential, and opportunities for overtime. As a Stock Attendant you will be responsible for gathering parts, sub-assemblies and other materials required for the manufacture of weldments and/or assemblies. Determine requirements and identification of these items using bills of material, routers, check lists, drawings, part numbers and other specifications. Deliver the same to designated areas in the plant in accordance with established procedures and instructions. Periodically inventory various material, maintain floor stock levels, and store items as instructed.

What you'll do :


  • Gather parts and stage the materials that are needed by the skilled craft worker to build the machine.
  • Use data from the procurement department to decide what materials to gather for building of machines.
  • Deliver all materials needed to build machines to the appropriate area in a timely manner.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Examine work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, and rulers.
  • Use forklift, pallet jacks and other material handling vehicles to move materials throughout the facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

Basic Requirements:


  • High school graduate, GED, or high school equivalent certificate.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-hire basic skills paper test.
  • Experience working with power tools or in an industrial environment (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of basic desktop computer (preferred).
