Cavicchio Greenhouses is a fourth-generation New England farm working more than 250 acres in Sudbury and growing facilities in Leominster and Lancaster.  As a horticultural grower and landscape distributor, we cultivate and supply an extensive variety of annuals and perennials, nursery stock, stone, masonry and landscape materials.  With a hard earned reputation for service, quality, selection and sustainability, we work with professionals and garden centers throughout the area to keep our region beautiful.

Primary Responsibility

Working at the direction of the Merchandising Supervisor, the Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining the appearance of Cavicchio product on display in one or more retail stores. The successful candidate will be reliable and execute the merchandising and maintenance plan to promote sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure product in stores in the territory is merchandised to maintain overall appearance and beauty of sales floor


• Execute existing designs for displays including placement and accuracy of signage


• Ensure displayed product is appropriately watered


• Cull, consolidate and otherwise oversee quality of displayed product


• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Skill and Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with supervisor, store personnel and store customers


• Prior merchandising experience or a willingness to learn


• Basic knowledge of plants and gardening or willingness to learn


• Ability to follow and execute a design plan independently


• Ability to commit to working for the complete season (April-October)


• Available cell phone and daily access to email


• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, pull/push up to 50 lbs


• Ability to bend, stand and walk for the length of your shift


• Ability to work outside in all types of weather
