Job Summary:




Manage and maintain State and Healthcare GPO contract activities for North American Sales including: Hospital, EMS, and Public Safety markets. Provide administrative support to Contracts Manager, Sales Management and National Accounts.




Essential Functions:




  • Prepare, review and respond to new contract submissions and amendments to existing contracts with Healthcare GPO and State contracting organizations.


  • Review terms and conditions for compliance with ZOLL's standard policies and legal requirements.


  • Review, prepare and respond to RFP's, RFI's, etc.


  • Prepare price lists and customer specific price files.


  • Assist with negotiating contract terms and conditions as well as pricing through conference calls, email, etc.


  • Act as main point of contact for administration of Healthcare GPO and State contracts.


  • Maintain GPO membership databases, contract reporting and administrative fee payments.


  • Handle calls from field sales regarding contracts and national account issues and information.


  • Interface with customer services, field sales, legal and others on contract/pricing issues.


  • Coordinate and maintain customer pricing relationships in Oracle system


  • Prepare sole source letters


  • Respond to miscellaneous data/report requests.


  • Support Contracts Department and National Accounts as needed.






Skills Requirements:




  • 5-7+ years of Healthcare contracts (GPO) experience preferred


  • Strong computer skills; high level of proficiency with MS Office critical


  • Knowledge of reporting software (i.e., Access, R&R, Crystal)


  • Experience working with Oracle or other ERP system required


  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills


  • Ability to handle multiple task simultaneously and prioritize work.


  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization


  • Knowledge of preparing submitting bids, RFP's, RFO's preferable.


  • Senior level leadership skills:


    • Lead by example


    • Address problems by independently finding solutions to present to Supervisor


    • Work independently, but know when it is appropriate to ask for help


    • Complete yearly objectives provided by Supervisor


    • Train and mentor the lower level team members


    • Help to build a team environment


    • Establish a positive working environment with sales team and sales leadership.


    • Show initiative in process creation to resolve department issues.








Required/Preferred Education and Experience:




  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
