What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Fairmont Grand Del Mar Director of Operations with dotted line reporting to HOA Residential Operations Management company, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to Owners, Guests and Colleagues
Responsible for the execution of the overall Residence Property Management as set forth in governing Residential Documents
Maintain records of the Association as required under Fairmont Management Agreement and governance
Responsible for positive Board relations, communications, and Home Owners' Association governance
Lead and manage the day to day operations ensuring all luxury service standards are followed
Achieve financial and operational targets through the establishment of positive culture, clear expectations, and policy and procedure implementation
Manage the residence property in a financially responsible manner
Prepare annual operating budget and capital plan; administer financial functions in accordance with brand standards
Control all purchases for the Residences in line with budget, maintaining proper inventory levels of Residence supplies
Act as a spokesperson for the Residences and an ambassador for the Fairmont Brand
Ensure that monthly and quarterly financial reports are on time, on target and accurate
Ensure full compliance to operating controls
Provide luxury level service to all Owners both while in residence or as needed regarding their ownership and owner benefits, coordinating the fulfillment of service through the Hotel team
Manage the Residences to meet luxury brand standards; inclusive of managing quality of housekeeping and general Residence maintenance and Residential Grounds maintenance
Build positive relationships with Hotel teams to support the delivery of Residential Services
Manage the arrival / departure experience for Owners and Guests, coordinating service through appropriate teams, and ensuring that Residence Quality / service meets luxury brand standards Collaborate with the real estate community to maximize sales and owners values
Execute the vacation planning process for owners aligned with property governing documents
Participate in required GDM, Residential and Brand Meetings
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Collaborate with the real estate community to maximize sales and owners values
Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Development and execution of a successful business plan
Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate rates, confirming by written contracts
Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate software applications
Network with Insurance, Relocation and other similar organizations to maximize business opportunities
Involved in revenue management team of resort and close relationship with Director of Revenue Management
Maintain active presence in local community
Weekly sales calls and entertainment
Participate in relevant events within the hotel and trade related organizations
Work closely with other departments to ensure all details are in order for on property entertainment, hotel tours and guest stays
Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
5 years of residential management and sales experience in luxury residential setting
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Strong solicitation and selling skills
Organized and detailed oriented individual
Strong negotiation skills
