Job Description:

Supports Communications operations initiatives across the function, manages projects and ongoing operations stakeholder relationships.

Leads and maintains project, account, and vendor management.

Solves non-routine cross-functional problems.

Contributes to strategy and planning.

Maintains and develops relationships with stakeholders/leaders/vendors.

Contributes to strategic communications planning (marketing promotional plan/communications plan).

Identifies and contributes to process improvement and functional excellence.

Learns, adheres to, represents, and champions Cummins brand.

Manages, supports, and maintains budget/financials.

Leads functional training, creates and delivers presentations.

Compiles, analyzes, and utilizes metrics, data, and analytics.

Understands digital tools, trends, and channels.

Additional duties:
Ensure studio and all equipment is operational, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions andperform preventative maintenance; research and recommend new technologies andupgrades as needed.

Understand Video team’s interaction with internal IT operations, collaborating with IT team to ensure network connectivity, access IP devices and review and implementtechnology and equipment upgrades.

Manage video integration vendor relationships and possess an understanding of televisionsystem design, working with vendors to keep studio technology current.

Produceand/or direct media (broadcasts, webcasts and stand-alone videos) as needed, ensuring alignment with brand standards, corporate messaging goals and creativedirection.

Schedule crews and access to facilities, review scripts, and ensure quality output asneeded.

Become a brand expert; build and possess an understanding of Cummins’ products, processes and business goals, and use that knowledge to influence projects andeducate colleagues.

Develop, maintain and promote video/broadcast best practices and standards as a resource for Video and broader Communications teams as well as agency partners.

Collaboratewith Digital team to archive all project data and media according to digitaland media asset management strategies.

Understand budget process and how it affects team assets and projects; request capital andexpense purchases through established Finance processes as needed.
Possess degree in video production or related field and mastery of technical aspects of video production process for both live and taped programming.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in communications, marketing, or a related subject required.

Experience

Digital experience preferred (emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic, advertising content) .

Graphic design skills, visual communications channel capabilities preferred.

Experience working with a global organization preferred.

Client/account/project management preferred.

System integration preferred.

6 Sigma, Value Stream Transformation, continuous improvement experience preferred.

B2B/B2C experience preferred.
