Role description:

Location: Global scope/location, the position can be filled in any location where Arcadis has a legal entity.

The purpose of this position is to support the development and implementation of Arcadis wellbeing and resilience framework and program, linked to the overall Employee Engagement Strategy, and drive the implementation of wellness and resilience priorities ensuring an innovative and proactive approach within a global context.

Reporting Line: Coordinating efforts across Arcadis and with third parties (wellbeing partners, EAP provider, MHFA), direct reporting line to Global Employee Experience Design Director, with the Global H&S Director as a key stakeholder.
With Strategic oversight and input from the Global Employee Experience Design Director.

Role accountabilities:


  • This role will support the development of Arcadis' wellbeing & resilience framework and program, which connects and feeds into the global Employee Experience strategy and roadmap based on our People First culture (and aligned with the Arcadis global business strategy, and the aligned People and Culture Strategy).
  • With the overview of the Employee Experience Director, design and implement leading customer-focused wellbeing programs and solutions based on leading best practice examples that are linked to business outcomes and impacting realization of the business, people and culture, and wellbeing strategy.
  • Incorporate physical health & nutrition, mental health & resilience, work environment, community support, and inclusion and belonging into the overall program in alignment with our H&S strategy, Employee Experience strategy, and People strategy.
  • Linked to the Employee Experience roadmap, sustain, coordinate, and develop the program through continuous improvement (PDCA-circle approach)
  • Ensure integration and alignment of well-being and resilience activities with the work of the global affinity groups and support the implementation of initiatives from those groups which are well-being and resilience-related
  • Alignment of the well-being and resilience framework with key Moments that Matter
  • Ensure the impact of all activities is measurable, tracked, and reported on.
Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources and related fields
  • At least 10+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing or Human Resources.
  • Experience in employee experience, health, safety, wellbeing, and resilience developing, leading, and implementing (wellbeing) programs in multinational organizations set up.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of employee pain points from employee engagements and the ability to create an evidence-based programme
  • Procure and manage contract providers
  • Strong understanding of data privacy as it relates to well-being and resilience

Arcadis offers benefits for full-time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, STD and LTD, and Life Insurance as well as some additional optional benefits.

Full-time positions also come with annual PTO days and at certain levels, a bonus program may apply.

The Salary range for this role is $90,000-$140000 (of our internal ranges) for Colorado-based positions only.

Other locations will vary in salary range.
