This is an exciting opportunity in Galesburg, MI for a Product Planning Manager (Hybrid/Remote)* This role can be performed anywhere within the United States.

 Your impact will happen in these and other ways: 

• Develop long term global digital product and service strategy, aligning with development teams, customers, and partners.


• Create and implement product portfolio and roadmaps for telematics, Over The Air (OTA) Programming, remote diagnostics, prognostics and predictive health, and big data analytics.


• Lead Over the Air Programming project launch, telematics and connectivity activity for all transmission products.


• Create user stories and use cases for digital and connectivity products and services.


• Develop data collection and analysis plan for public and proprietary vehicle and transmission data.


• Initiate and lead new projects for prognostics, predictive health and remote optimization (ideation through project execution) to provide Customer and Internal value.


• Develop long term global strategy, product portfolio and roadmaps for functional safety, cybersecurity, software architecture, and other enabling technologies.


• Lead projects, develop systems, and build organizational capability requirements and teams to support long term digital and software capability.


• Analyze competitive product offerings, understated market landscape, keep up with technology evolution, best practices and standards across vehicle industry.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant Senior or Lead work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.


• Familiarity and experience with telematics and OTA remote updates preferred.(Preferred)


• Familiarity and experience with global cybersecurity and functional safety standards and best practices. (Preferred)


• Familiarity with software architecture and enabling technologies to meet cybersecurity and functional safety standards and regulations. (Preferred)

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, technical or a related subject required. MBA Preferred.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Compensation and Benefits
