Job Description:

The Program Manager will own, manage, and support corporate-wide, cross-functional initiatives identified by and assigned to the Corporate PMO.  The candidate for this role plans, organizes, oversees, and delivers cross-departmental program management for business-critical, time-sensitive projects through all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation through completion. Focuses on scalability and efficiency while partnering with fellow functional team members and business transformation leads to identify cross-dependencies, communicate information, and ensure successful alignment between programs. We are looking for candidates with excellent project/program management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Manage the project process and deployment to ensure on time, quality delivery.

  • Define the programs (mission, vision, tenets), create project plans and charters and oversee their execution, set objectives, analyze data, drive improvements that are quantifiable and measurable, and influence resource allocation.

  • Build, verify, and manage schedules based on plans and business engagements. Build and manage work hours, budgets, and expenditures for the project plan and solicit feedback from stakeholders for select projects.

  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members. Ensure notation and communication of action items and update project plans accordingly

  • Lead, actively participate in, and collaborate with project-related cross-functional teams on requirements gathering, Sprint planning/retrospectives, design review, and pressure test proposals.

  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is appropriately maintained. Assess gaps and build out as needed.

  • Identify impediments and remove project barriers and blockers; escalate and communicate blockers to senior leaders as required.

  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively including documentation, training, status updates, escalation paths, etc. Contribute to defining and monitor KPIs to measure team performance and drive process improvement.

  • Through effective cross-functional communication and collaboration with stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and other functions, provide a thorough understanding of customer needs and the impact on their business operations.

Qualifications 

Must have:


  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical staff; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Proven project management skills with experience managing global project deployments; attention to detail and focus on quality; experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Must be a collaborative leader comfortable working in a matrixed environment; ability to work independently and in a team setting

  • Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex business issues and translate objectives to goals and measurements; strong analytical acumen

  • Ability to act decisively and work well under pressure; adaptable to change and evolving environments

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience running programs and projects

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired Skills:


  • Experience within the software industry and with SaaS technologies a plus

  • Project Management certifications a plus
