Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Production Lead at its Poly-ISO Insulation facility located in Terrell, TX location.


The Production Lead will assist the Production Supervisor in the leadership of the department employees, overseeing production operations, and performing administrative duties.


Essential Job Duties:


* Assist production supervisor with leadership & supervision of production personnel.
* Assist production supervisor with manning management.
* Assist production supervisor with the coaching and training of production operators
* Assist with daily production needs including SAPI reviewing and batch completion
* Assist production supervisor in developing employees in our 5S, TPM and Standard Start programs
* Make liaison with scheduling department and personnel.
* Schedule and assign daily job duties.
* Initiate and track material downtime and scrap concerns.
* Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
* Be responsible to the employee accountability program.
* Production record keeping and documentation.
* Work with supervisors, managers, and safety coordinator on problems and projects brought up in tier meetings
* Assist with training production operators.
* Troubleshoot and monitor equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

Work Environment/Schedule


This position is in a warehouse-type facility subject to ambient and outside temperatures, exposure to loud machinery, dust, and mechanical parts. Work surfaces are primarily concrete, and operators will stand while performing their respective job functions. Business is cyclical and will require flexibility in the days of the week worked.


Shift hours: 4:30pm - 4:30am; schedule is Monday - Sunday with two consecutive rotating days off. Shift differently paid for all hours worked between the listed times.


* 3+ years of experience in manufacturing; or other combination of higher/vocational education and work experience in industrial manufacturing environment will be considered.
* High School Diploma or equivalency required
* Basic Math Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office programs (specifically Excel, Outlook, TEAMS & Word)
* Experience utilizing SAP
* Experience operating forklifts required
* Experience with other manufacturing equipment such as laminators, gang saws, Robotic equipment, cross-cut saws, and packaging equipment
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Interpersonal Skills including ability to be a team player, deliver information and train staff
* Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing process
* Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure


Physical Requirements


* Combined sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift to accomplish tasks
* Lift 50 pounds
* Reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching, or stooping, frequently
* Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
