Job Description:

The Department of English at Kutztown University invites applications for a one-year, full-time temporary position to teach classes in African American and African diasporic literature for the 2022-2023 academic year; secondary expertise in composition and first-year writing is desirable. A Master's Degree in English or related field is required; MFA or Ph.D. preferred. The 4/4 teaching load will include courses in African American and African diasporic literature and Composition 100, and may include other courses depending on candidates' expertise and department needs. Experience working with diverse populations is required. Candidates from minority and underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Salary and benefits are highly competitive.
