Job Description:

A Nationally recognized hospital system in Connecticut is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their dynamic care team as the Physician Relations Collaborator. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader within a top rated healthcare center.

The Physician Relations Liaison is responsible to develop and maintain excellent relationship between the health system, it's physicians and their office staff. The ideal candidate will implement strategies to enhance the relationship with providers; respond to service needs and build market share. This includes working closely with key service lines, service departments and programs, as well as the Medical Group  to maximize physician utilization and facilitate network integrity. In addition, site visits to physician practices to enhance communication, facilitate issue resolution and increase physician satisfaction.

The Physician Relations Collaborator will act as a physician liaison to referring physician offices; plan and conduct physician practice visits on a scheduled basis. Coordinate outreach efforts with Physician Application Liaison.  Other responsibilities include meeting regularly with department chairs to coordinate physician outreach, monitor and track physician liaison activity/ROI in Physician Relationship Management System, collaborate with physicians and practice staff, and performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree required or 7 plus years of healthcare experience in inpatient, outpatient or private practice setting with strong business development and/or clinical knowledge.

Experience utilizing data-driven CRM/PRM (i.e., Salesforce; Marketware). 

Clinical experience desired.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with physicians and other health care professionals.

Strong computer skills.

Ability to multi-task, work independently and achieve sales goals.

Analytical skills to generate reports using Excel, Access and databases.
