Sr. Financial Analyst at Sotera Health Services LLC in BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio

Job Description:

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide analysis relating to Corporate and global business unit performance, and Acquisition / Strategic Planning support. This position operates in a matrixed environment with accountability to the Finance, Marketing, and Corporate Development groups .

Primary Responsibilities

Finance (~85%)

• Assist in running the annual budget and strategic planning processes, including creating financial models and templates and collaborating with business units in preparation of financial projections and review materials
• Provide insights and analysis related to SG&A reporting for senior leadership
• Consolidate financial metrics (Price, Volume, Mix) by business and upload monthly to the consolidation tool (HFM)
• Support the Chief Financial Officer and other financial leaders with recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and preparation of presentations as needed

Marketing / Business Development (~15%)

• Develop an understanding of the underlying trends and issues that impact our business and the end markets we serve
• Support analysis to triangulate information to help B.U. leaders with customer share-of-wallet analysis
• Assist in industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions and internal growth initiatives
• Identification of information sources and collection of data to help drive market mapping across sterilization, lab testing, and other key market segments across Sotera Health

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Four-year degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or another relevant field
• Proven academic record with strong analytical capabilities

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
• Prefer experience with Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management Tool)
• Candidates should have experience working in a fast-pace professional environment and be able to hit the ground running
• Experience presenting information in front of a group
• A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
