BIOTRONIK, a leading medical device manufacturer, is looking for a Systems Analyst – Financial Applications to support and expand our SAP ERP eco-system for financial services and capabilities. The primary function of this role is the service delivery and support for our business users within the framework of our SAP ERP eco-system, with the main focus on SAP FI/CO, including Commissions and Rebate Management, Travel and Expense solutions, Credit Card and tax systems integration and others. The ideal candidate has a solid foundational understanding of SAP FI/CO/MM/SD and has successfully executed global projects and support efforts in cooperation with their business counter parts.
Your Responsibilities
Functional subject matter expert towards our Accounting, Controlling and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams
Active consulting, guiding, and influencing of business stakeholders
Support business cases and influence key decision makers (on IT and business side)
Collaborate with our HQ on global roadmaps and represent the US stakeholders
Implementation of prototypes and proof of concepts, leading design sessions, workshops as well as organization of requirements gathering sessions
Conceptualization, design, and implementation of new solutions in the financial applications space
Provide user support and troubleshooting
Actively contribute in our journey from SAP ECC towards S/4 HANA and New G/L (currently in planning phase)
Technical vendor management of our service partners and cloud providers (triaging, ticketing, licensing, troubleshooting, maintenance, escalations)
Coordinate and manage system changes and go-lives with our business users as well as with our IT CoE partners in Berlin, Germany
Your Profile
BA or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO/MM/SD and integration scenarios with other applications. Vistex experience is a plus
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with financial applications systems (must be able to thoroughly understand business use cases for financial systems).
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with the implementation and support of cloud applications – interfaced with SAP
Experience in leading integration projects end-to-end (at least one) and working with external vendors
Software development experience, ideally with ABAP
The current responsibilities and especially the planned S/4 HANA project require a deep understanding of accounting principles and business processes in accounting and finance – as well as a strong understanding and experience with SAP software concepts and systems capabilities.

Ability to handle business and customer escalations and urgent production issues
Ability to analyze support requests, business processes and data flows across a complex systems landscape
Ability to understand business problems and articulate systems changes and root cause analysis' to technical and non-technical audience such as senior management and relate to a business problem
Understanding of Medical Device industry is desired (HIPAA and FDA regulations)
Agile mindset, Agile or SCRUM certification or experience is a big plus
