Material Coordinator II

BIOTRONIK US is looking for a Material Coordinator II to join our Shipping and Receiving team. If you are an energetic, self-starter looking to join a fun team, this position is for you. We are in need of a Material Coordinator II to help our company manage the daily functions of receiving and verifying incoming shipments, organizing and storing product materials, shipping products to customers and providing customer service to all levels of the organization. This position requires a professional individual who is detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Your Responsibilities


  • Daily tracking and reporting on status of inbound shipments.
  • Maintaining customs HTS databases and responding to customs inquiries from carriers.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and metrics to proactively balance team members workload.
  • Ensuring all stock has valid UBD and removing any item(s) which are not valid or soon to expire – both physically and systematically.
  • Maintain and order shipping supplies.
  • Unpack incoming shipments, and route applicable materials to appropriate location/addressee.
  • Receive incoming returned product, update tracking information via data entry, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Process product, accessories, and equipment in accordance with corporate SOPs and detailed work instructions.
  • Audit incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy.
  • Pick, package, and ship product orders as received using company SOPs.
  • Operate computerized Federal Express and UPS shipping systems.
  • Export products for return shipments to Biotronik OUS companies.
  • Maintain storage areas and stockroom as "Inspection Ready" status.
  • Provide various reports on a scheduled basis as well as on demand.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Relabeling product as needed per company SOPs.
  • Process internal shipping requests for distribution of corporate materials.
  • Identify and suggest solutions for storage and process improvements.

Your Profile


  • Associates degree or higher level of education preferred.
  • Minimum of three – five years shipping and receiving experience or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Ability to work overtime hours, as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of corporate personnel and customer base.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong work ethic and be Customer Service centric.
  • General experience/understanding of Class 3 FDA regulated product and/or experience managing materials with a shelf life highly desirable.
  • General experience/understanding of FDA customs classifications and import requirements highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision

Work Environment


  • This job operates both in a temperature-controlled warehouse and an office environment. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and straddle-stackers as well as standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


  • This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on inbound shipments but is largely 8am – 5pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
