Director Physician Practice Acquisitions

The Director Physician Practice Acquisitions will lead the development of physician practice merger & acquisition/joint venture efforts. As a key member of the Business Development Team, this role has high exposure and ability to influence the strategic direction of the organization. Delivers value through integration readiness assessments, target due diligence, and integration strategy, planning and management. Working closely with the Senior Vice President, Business Strategy and Development to identify growth opportunities. This role will develop credibility with local physicians/physician groups to grow the business and successfully execute acquisitions. Additionally, the Director Physician Practice Acquisitions will be responsible for delivering specific financial and operational outcomes related to the essential duties.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
Minimum Experience: Marketing/Public relations/Sales/Banking experience preferred. Healthcare experience required. Minimum 5 years' experience and knowledge of physician acquisition process/evaluation required. Start-up/entrepreneurial spirit; strong writing and exceptional presentation skills; creative thinker. Proven ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and staff as well as physician/practice leadership both internally and externally. Strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis and ability to understand the business strategy, structure and link it to the transaction roadmap and deal drivers. Hands-on in defining objectives and producing deliverables in a fast-paced, nimble environment Ability to manage the M&A lifecycle with minimal oversight. Demonstrates ethical responsibility and integrity while exhibiting behaviors consistent with our Core Values. Travel may be required (10-25%), sometimes with limited advance notice.
