Our Client is looking for a QA Test Automation Analyst
This position is a hybrid format with 1-2 days a week onsite in Naperville, IL.
Project Overview:
Will need a resource focused on on Security. This contractor will work on test cases as well as be team leaders that will interface with client partners. They will run and participate in product specific meetings and discussions. Perform test lead manager functions.
Contractor's Role:
Candidate will be member of an existing sprint team. Create functional test cases and translate them. They will be attending Agile ceremonies and product specific meetings and discussions. There will be direct interface with product owners and the testing team.
Experience Required:
5-8 years of experience, with leadership skills strongly recommended
Qualifications:
Automation Testing, Tool - JAVA, Selenium, RestAssured, Postman for API, Perfecto, JIRA-Zephyr, BDD/Cucumber
Strong experience in automation test projects
Expertise in UI and API automation
Team lead experience with offshore - onshore model
Client facing with strong written and verbal communication
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Design & build test scripts for the DC project
Design flow-based automated regression test scripts
Design and Develop the Automated solution for Sanity Testing for various repeatable tests.
Identify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts.
Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by the testing team
Implement QA process and Automated testing to improve the overall testing cycle.
Participate on KTs when there is a need to bring new testing resources into the team
Assist with test planning and test management
Participate in UAT testing planning, deployment prep and actual deployment
