We are currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator to add to our Indianapolis, IN studio.
Position Purpose/Summary
The purpose of this position is to process bi-weekly payroll and assist with processing monthly invoices.
Payroll o Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding payroll. o Responsible for the payroll process including time management, bi-weekly payroll processing, 401(k) remittance process, bonuses, W-2’s, and related journal entries. o Responsible for payroll tax process including tax payments, reconciliations, tax filing, and applications for new state tax accounts as needed. o Measurables:
Payroll is submitted accurately and on time.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Communicates regularly with HR department to ensure all employee records and accounts are in line.
Client Billing Assistance o Assist Project Accountants with initial invoice preparation. o Assist Project Accountants to generate final invoices to client specific projects. o May provide accounting support to other staff as needed.. o Measurables:
Error Prevention/Accuracy – Process Accurate Invoices
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Assist project accountants with processing client invoices.
Promote company’s reputation through good client relations.
