A stellar opportunity has just become available for the experienced surgical services leader! A beloved hospital in Southern Florida is actively seeking a Director Perioperative Servcies to join their outstanding team.

This acute care hospital has been serving the surrounding community for the past 60 years and prides itself on providing quality patient care in a number of medical and surgical specialties. This nearly 500-bed acute care hospital provides many award-winning services including maternity care, surgical services, cancer care, burn services, and a wide range of outpatient services.

The Director Perioperative Services will lead the clinical and administrative functions of the surgical services department which includes Pre-Admission Testing, Operating Rooms, Post-Operative Suites, Pain Center, and Pediatric Procedural room. The Director Perioperative Services will be responsible for implementing and evaluating policies and procedures, personnel management, regulatory compliance, operating and capital budgets, quality assurance and performance improvement, and ongoing success of the department. The Director Perioperative Services will also be an active member on a number of hospital committees.

The ideal Director Perioperative Services will have their Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, BSN, Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Florida, and have 3-5 years of prior management experience in surgical services. CNOR certification is a plus!
