Job Description:

Travero Logistics has an outstanding opportunity to join our growing team as a Logistics Process & Strategy Manager! Supporting Travero Logistics leadership in developing, planning, directing, and implementing an overall logistics strategy to continuously improve competitive position and profitability. In this role you will develop and give guidance on overall pricing strategy to include negotiations and leveraging pricing as needed to support freight, customer, and carrier strategy. In addition, you will also develop and support the Logistics team with training initiatives.
Preferred candidates will have knowledge of all aspects of logistics to develop a strategy to assist the Business Development and Logistics teams in securing contracts for logistics services, including freight, customer, and carrier strategy.

• Up to 50% travel between Cedar Rapids, Iowa & Stoughton, Wisconsin

Job Qualifications

Required Experience

• 5 years of experience in freight brokerage operations with demonstrated operations success.

Preferred Education Requirements

• Bachelor\u0027s Degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study.

Preferred Experience

• Management experience with profit and loss responsibility

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time on an as needed basis. Demonstrating effective leadership skills and financial skills such as budgeting and basic accounting.


• Promotes and supports diversity initiatives and equal employment opportunities. Also, demonstrating effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with both customers and carrier audience with conflict resolution skills.


• Proficient use of computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, and project management), with the ability to analyze data, identify process improvement needs from data, perform root cause analyses and implement process improvement changes.


• Working knowledge of Load Boards such as DAT/ Truckstop, TMS systems.
