Administrative Assistant

PSI, an Intertek company, is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our Building & Constructionteam in our Kennesaw, GA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry!

The Administrative Assistant will support the Building & Construction Business in our Kennesaw, GA location by performing a full range of administrative duties.

What you'll do:

• Make calls to third parties and subcontractors to secure schedules and provide updates
• Inter-coordination with other departments within the company, as directed, and when needed
• Provide assistance to Project Managers, on as needed basis, by receiving training then participating in project related tasks
• Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office Software.
• Perform various general office duties including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
• Assisting with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Invoice payments
• May assist with developing, updating and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/ or work instructions

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 1+ year experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction, civil engineering, or geotechnical engineering industry
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames
