Job Summary

As a member of the Global Corporate Human Resources team, the Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) will be responsible for providing a holistic approach to human resources while supporting internal and external customers striving to meet our standards of being reliable, timely, consistent, and customer focused. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)/Sr. Human Resources Manager, the HRC is primarily responsible for providing administrative and functional support in the following areas: HR Systems, Talent Management, and Pre-employment/Onboarding. The HRC will be well connected with managers across Sotera Health and its business units (BUs) including human resources, functional areas, and operations. The HRC will communicate routinely with teams across the matrixed organization. Furthermore, this position provides the opportunity to work on a variety of HR projects that include management of key initiatives and projects, reporting and analysis, process improvement, and some generalist responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

¢ Oversee HR email mailbox, respond to and direct inquiries to appropriate HR team members

¢ Manage employment reporting in our HCM system including hiring, terminations, and other employee actions with change management

¢ Manage various weekly and monthly reporting requests including requisition tracking and temporary position tracking

¢ Manage referral and sign on bonus programs

¢ Support hiring managers and HR Team in coordinating and managing pre-onboarding and onboarding efforts

¢ Partner with HR team members, assisting with other enterprise-wide initiatives (annual performance reviews, merit and bonus processes, engagement surveys, etc.)

¢ Maintain and update policy manuals ¢ Other tasks as requested (filing, mail management, projects, etc.)

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

¢ Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, I/O psychology, or related field

¢ PHR and/or SHRM-CP a plus

¢ One (1) year of human resources or internship experience with demonstrated ability to show progression in responsibilities

¢ Strong interpersonal skills with confident and positive demeanor

¢ High level of ethics to handle sensitive and confidential information, situations, and documentation. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

¢ Good listening skills, attention to detail, communication, alert, analytic ability, problem solving ability, sound judgment, initiative, creativity, and patience
