Job Description:

Senior Business Development Manager -

In this role, you will generate leads through various sources and channels available. Anchor meetings and pursue any opportunities generated with the help of pre-sales, partner units and external partners. Research and provide analysis on all key accounts to attain an understanding of needs, develop organization charts/structure for all key accounts. Identify the right team internally and for meetings, identify the right external partners (based on fitment, market presence, internal capabilities etc). Provide intelligence on competition, figure out target price, help get the internal approvals and provide inputs to model/solution and provide content as is necessary. Negotiate teaming agreements and prices with external partners. Negotiate MSA terms and conditions. Effectively handover the project to delivery for execution. Develop account plan, relationship map, Signs off on SOWs.

In this role you will be responsible for -


  • Business Planning organization and at unit level

  • Sales Planning and Review. Market Development

  • Customer Prospective and opportunity identification.

  • Proposal Development, Negotiation and closures.

  • Account Planning and reviews. Account operations and relationship management.


Location for this position is on the East Coast . This role involves extensive travel.

Qualifications
Basic


  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 14 years of experience as per the JD.


Preferred

  • At least 9 Years of experience handling sales or related roles

  • Strong Knowledge of insurance domain.

  • Communication Skills and ability to coordinate with various internal and external divisions for work

  • Analytical skills

  • Leadership skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
