An award-winning surgery center in Southern Massachusetts is actively seeking a PACU Nurse to join their team!

This 6+ operating room multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center offers a variety of outpatient surgical procedures, including gastroenterology, orthopedics, ear/nose/throat, podiatry, plastics, and more. This facility is a part of a larger organization, and has been providing same-day surgical care to patients in the surrounding communities for almost twenty years. This surgery center has been recognized for its board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists, and for its excellence in patient safety and patient satisfaction.

The Surgery Center PACU RN will have the wonderful opportunity to work among a great team of fellow surgery center RNs, techs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurse managers, and clinical coordinators at this busy and fast-paced surgical center. The PACU Nurse will be responsible for the post-operative care of patients following their outpatient procedures, including pain and nausea medication administration, monitoring of vital signs, administering discharge instructions and education to patients and families, and overall coordination of care following surgery. The Surgery Center PACU Nurse will work collaboratively with the pre-op and OR staff, ensuring a high standard of patient care and excellent postoperative outcomes. 

This role is RN required and BSN preferred. Greater than 2 years of post-anesthesia care unit experience is also required, and ambulatory surgery center experience is highly preferred.
