Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a well-established and growing technology firm is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a talented team of engineers supporting a global network infrastructure.

Summary:
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include supporting the implementation, operation, and testing of WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, VPN, and Firewalls; effectively identifying, and resolving issues across networks; deploying and troubleshooting Cisco switches; deploying and troubleshooting BGP and OSPF routing protocols; and contributing to roadmap and architectural direction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of relevant networking engineering experience


• Knowledge of Cisco switch technology


• Experience in supporting Wireless solutions (cloud or on-premise)


• Knowledge of Python or similar language


• Knowledge of Cloud technology such as AWS or Azure is preferred


• Knowledge of an open-source infrastructure as code software tool preferred
