Job Description:

Job Summary

• Inspects all incoming materials that can be of influence on the quality of products (scrap, cores, etc.)


• Inspects all the parts that are used for assembly of complete units (all parts used to make fit up parts such as couplers and yokes)


• Inspects all purchased parts that are bought for sale to customers


• Inspects all purchased assemblies that are brought for sale to customers

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of measuring tools, equipment and gauges


• Good understanding of analyzing materials with emission spectrometer


• Good understanding of analyzing materials with hand held XRF analyzer


• Willing to learn NDT testing methods for steel castings


• Proficient in reporting results; both verbally and in written documents


• Be able to work independently with minimum supervision


• Able to work multiple shifts on planned basis


• Basic math skills


• Basic computer skills

Skills or Qualifications Required:

• Must have High School diploma or GED


• Minimum 2 years of experience


• Must have strong interpersonal skills including being capable of working with others in the resolution of problems and getting the job done.
