Job Description:

• General maintenance knowledge including knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and other related duties.
• Must be able to stand, climb, bend, and kneel much of the time. Reaching over head, twisting, pushing, and pulling required. Must be able to work indoors and out.
• A general knowledge of basic tools including - Drill, Power Saw, Level, Hammer, Screw Drivers & Wrenches
• A certified lift truck driver's license as defined by Plant licensing procedures.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Works under close supervision of Maintenance Coordinator to perform improvement activities, such as cleaning and minor repairs on forming presses and CNC equipment throughout the plant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deep clean, paint and repair production equipment; (2) production centers per day

• Assisting Manufacturing in variety of tasks by performing a full range of maintenance duties and may include assisting in painting, prepping, and cleaning. Primarily focusing on press cleaning, eliminating sources of leaks and CNC cleaning and alignment checks.
• Regularly plans and participates in TPM assessments of equipment. Addresses follow-up actions determined during assessments.
• Abides by all Safety Rules

• Builds and maintains a good selection of hand tools
• Assists Manufacturing in performing various repairs, replacements, and/or modifications of plant equipment and buildings.
• Reports to Maintenance Coordinator when unusual conditions are noted during performance of duties.
• Works closely with Maintenance Coordinator to ensure that assigned Preventive Maintenance work requests are performed and returned in a timely manner.
• Suggests changes and updates on existing PM items.
• Has a working knowledge of computerized Preventive Maintenance system.
• Handles hazardous materials/waste in accordance with Hazardous Waste Management

Program

• Helps maintain a clean working environment, including clean-up work in shop or other areas.
• Performs all job duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintains a high attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
