Senior Software Analyst at BMW of North America in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey

Job Description:

The Senior Software Analyst will be responsible for providing project management and business analyst services for their assigned technical products, applications or projects, within the context of an agile/DevOps delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement coding and configuration work on the assigned IT products/applications and execute operations topics and the agile scrum master role.
• Plan and facilitate key Agile events including daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings utilizing BMW ITPM processes.
• Execute appropriate ITPM and technical delivery tasks, activities and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality, cost-efficient projects.
• Drive delivery of changes, both functional and technical, for software products and projects by evaluating new technologies and trends as they support business processes and improve IT efficiencies.
• Executes ITSM/ITIL processes to ensure ongoing stable operations and alignment with SLAs guiding technical team members on the implementation of coding and configuration, reviewing relevant work results, and in smaller feature teams, perform coding and configuration tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant technical field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five years of experience in management of information technology application development in an Agile projects context and executing appropriate ITPM and technical delivery tasks, activities and deliverables as necessary to ensure project success
• Three (3) years of experience in software engineering and understanding of software architecture concepts, e.g. for Cloud based environments and cloud migration, user experience design and test driven development, test automation and continuous integration and deployment, Rest API and other service oriented architecture approaches
• Three (3) years of experience with technical solution stack, within the context of an agile/DevOps delivery model, e.g. Javascript, .Net, C#, Web, databases, Salesforce, ASP, ASP.net, Angular JS, T-SQL, Python, HTML, Oracle, R, ABAP, SAP HANA, Adobe Experience and Marketing Cloud
• One (1) year experience in managing Agile projects and driving and enabling technological and environmental changes, both incremental and disruptive
