The SURVEYOR Front Desk Service Associate (FDSA) is a critical position on the contract and requires the candidate to work independently, with little to no oversight and supervision either by GDIT or customer management. The FDSA must, on a daily basis, provide independent and critical judgment in making the daily decisions required to maintain customer administrations and operations.

The FDSA position will require the candidate to supervise and direct the actions of 4 metro couriers during their daily tasks and make sound judgements regarding how these couriers are deployed and conduct daily business operations.

The FDSA will also be tasked to direct and maintain these multiple GDIT and customer databases and interpret and analyze the data generated by those systems. The FDSA will be required to assess the date and provide input and judgement ensure that proper data integrity is maintained through the data lifecycle process.

Additionally, the FDSA will also be responsible for the overall health and status of customer data and be required to make independent decisions regarding that health. This includes the transfer, cataloging, and tracking of data generated by Metro Couriers, providing an ongoing analysis of this data to enable the couriers to be directed in the most efficient and cost-effective way while support customer operational requirements, including the distribution of this data to the end-use customer. The FDSA will use this data to develop an overall gauge of health of the SURVEYOR operation and propose and implement efficiency strategies that they develop based on the data.  This will be done as a continuing part of the FDSA duties and will work with GDIT and customer management to achieve overarching goals required by the customer.

The FDSA is responsible for daily business operations and is expected to work independently to oversee the onsite administrative and operational functions of the SURVEYOR Program. The customer allows SURVEYOR FTE to operate with a large degree of autonomy and the FDSA will direct administrative and office functions with little to no direct supervision. Also, after con=tract award, when the bulk of the SURVEYOR program will move to an offsite location, the FDSA will be stay at the customer headquarters location and will be required to work autonomously with little or no direct GDIT or customer supervision.

This will require the FDSA to use sound judgment when required to interact with outside mission partners to correctly and timely distribute data to various offices and internal organizations to ensure that incoming and outgoing data sets are delivered as mandated by policy. The FDSA is provided the latitude to deviate from this policy if operational requirements dictate.

As a secondary role, the FDSA is required to work with the designated funds and manager maintain accountability of customer cash (approximately $18 - $20k per month) and to provide auditing oversight to ensure that funds are spent within guidelines.  

During the course of these above duties and activities the FDSA, if they see fit and within reason, will be able to modify and/or deviate from established Standard Operating Procedures and process at their desertion to achieve stated customer goals in order to meet overall customer requirements.
