Position Pay Range:



This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$68,659.00-$109,856.00

Essential Job Functions:


We are looking for an experienced, creative, forward-thinking, innovative learning professional to design and develop trendsetting learning for modern and next-generation learners. This person will be responsible for working with stakeholders to identify education needs, prioritize deliverables and will lead the development of large education programs that help take CSG education solutions to the next level. At CSG you will work in an innovative and agile culture. You will have the freedom and support to innovate, experiment, think outside the box, and lead change in a global environment. Our Senior Technical Instructional Designer designs and develops on-demand, instructor-led, virtual-instructor led, and blended learning programs for CSG software solution offerings and applications. The target audiences for these programs include clients and internal end users and system administrators from around the world.


  • Designs and develops cutting edge, graphically rich, engaging learning deliverables, interactive multimedia, and innovative approaches to delivering learning content and interactive media.

  • Translates learning outcomes into appropriate learning activities and assessments.

  • Acts independently to determine learning approach for assigned CSG solutions.

  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for developing content and measuring learning impacts and outcomes.

  • Works independently on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive deadlines.

  • Acts as an instructional design product owner for a CSG product line and as a program manager and project manager for internal and client-facing education programs.

  • Develops positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.

  • Actively develops CSG product knowledge.

  • Networks with key contacts in Product Management, Development, and other company functions to prioritize deliverables and gather feedback on product enhancements and education deliverables.

  • Works closely with CSG trainers on delivery approach and implementation of education materials.

  • Reviews and interprets technical documentation and existing course materials for the purpose of developing education content.

  • Delivers training as needed.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders (including clients, internal business owners, SMEs and end users) to identify the most effective method for delivering technical learning content.

  • Designs and develops engaging technical learning for classroom-based training, virtual classroom-based training, online courses, and blended learning using Articulate 360, Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Microsoft Office products or other applicable software.

  • Designs and develops engaging micro-learning, mobile learning, videos, infographics, and new approaches to effectively deliver content to modern learners.

  • Collaborates with end users to define and identify business procedures and establish course content. Also, collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to collect and interpret information.




Minimum Requirements:



  • Proven experience designing and developing on-demand, instructor-led, virtual-instructor led, and blended learning courses and large-scale education programs.

  • Proven experience developing micro-learning.

  • Proven experience writing for and developing engaging and interactive videos that get results.

  • Proven experience editing video with editing tools and platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Camtasia.

  • Proven ability to bring learning projects to completion in innovative and revolutionary ways.

  • Experience using the ADDIE or SAM instructional design methodologies required.

  • Ability to design technical education materials for a variety of audiences, understanding and applying adult learning principles.

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to work closely and communicate with engineers to take complex technical concepts and translate them to layman terms for a non-expert to understand.

  • Proficient with eLearning content authoring tools, particularly Articulate 360




Preferred Skills:



  • Experience implementing and forerunning content curation strategies and learning experience platforms such as Degreed a plus.

  • Experience in Computer Science and Telecom Billing domains a plus.

  • Experience developing technical or application training a plus.

  • Experience recording live-action videos a plus.

  • Experience developing mobile learning a plus.

  • Strong graphic design skills a plus.

Education:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
