Prudential is seeking a Director, Employee Insights Consultant for its Employee Insights Center of Excellence (COE) in Human Resources. The director will act as a thought leader and counsel business partners through the utilization of our people data, with the goal of driving and executing strategies and analytics that enable leaders to achieve talent and business objectives. The ideal candidate is adept at leveraging internal and external data and developing insights, and then turning those insights into strategic recommendations. This person will work closely with our analytics, reporting and research teams, and will report to the VP, Employee Insights Consultant.


Responsibilities:


  • Be a key consultative partner for business and COE leaders seeking data to help inform decisions about our people, programs, processes, and policies.

  • Guide and interact closely with stakeholders (who have varying levels of data fluency) to plan and execute high-value and actionable talent analytics and employee research projects and initiatives.

  • Align with business and COE leaders to understand business strategy, needed capabilities and workforce planning needs; and provide thought leadership on market insights and the talent landscape.

  • Use a combination of research and talent analytics, bringing together strategic, creative, and technical skills to analyze data and uncover insights relevant to talent strategies, current and future workforce demands, and business needs.

  • Oversee the execution of insight projects that require multiple disciplines (analytics, data science, HR reporting, EX research); which includes partnering to develop and design executive presentations, reports, and other deliverables to communicate findings and make recommendations.

  • Consult on the design, iteration and delivery of robust dashboards, scorecards, and metrics to help inform and drive HR strategies and delivery across the enterprise.

  • Ensure alignment across multiple functional stakeholders to create the right data stories.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree and preferably master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, organizational behavior, or organizational development

  • Executive presence including ability to influence and interact with people at all levels

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; strong emotional intelligence skills

  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively within complex organizations


  • Ability to work with and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen coupled with analytical, organizational, research and problem-solving skills

  • Conceptual thinker with ability to discover patterns

  • Inquisitive mindset; able to constantly learn and assimilate new processes, approaches, initiatives

  • Excellence in presentation, visualization, storytelling and communication skills, including ability to translate complex subject matter into plain language and easy-to-read findings

  • Versatile in workforce data tools/solutions, including OrgVue, Visier, Tableau, Workday


  • Highly motivated self-starter; proactive, adaptable and thrives in fast, iterative, changing environment

  • Open to remote/virtual location outside of commutable Newark area
