Job Summary
The Staff Completions Foreman will work with Completion Engineer(s) on well planning to include vendor tendering / selection, writing, and reviewing of procedures to include lessons learned captured on prior operations, risk assessments, equipment selections and well forecast. Perform subsea space outs based on stack configurations and coordinate with subsea test tree provider on manufacturing or acquiring necessary components for proper space out. Pre-plan and review pumping / return routes per operation to ensure each procedure section is thoroughly considered for equipment needs, rig capabilities and capacities. Prepare detailed crossover, pup / pipe list per vendor and submit to drill pipe provider to ensure all requirements will be met.
Responsibilities
Supervise preparation on all equipment pre-deployment, coordinate equipment pre-assemblies to minimize rig up time, supervise SIT's on well critical equipment and insure proper interphase between vendors
Conduct detailed procedure reviews with all selected vendors and capture all corrections on the procedures from the vendor reviews
Assist with final review of the procedures with the completion team prior to issuing to the field
Assist Drilling foreman offshore on timeline forecast, load-out of equipment versus vessel schedule and manage the call out of service company personnel
Review final space-outs on all BHA's, ensure proper implementation of procedure, capture and report procedure modifications and ensure BSEE and SEMS regulations are followed
Assist with trouble shooting of any well / equipment issues.
Assist in documenting drilling / completion reports
Capture all lessons learned pre, present and post operations into a database and begin working on action item closure and reporting. During procedure write-ups and reviews, this database is open and reviewed throughout the process to ensure learned lessons are followed.
Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
Minimum 15 years' experience in completions
