Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Industrialization Engineering Intern starting Fall 2022 for support of Industrialization development team for new products in the Schneider Electric Energy Management, Power Products division.

What do you get to do in this position?

• Assist with product prototype assembly including line modifications, cycle time measurements
• Coordinate samples for measurements, run first article inspection, form/fit/function reports
• Assist with analysis of possible process quality issues to create PFMEAs (process failure modes and effects analysis)
• Analyze supply chain flows to find improvement areas and generate product costs
• Coordinate between Design Engineering, Industrialization, Model Shop, Plants, Quality, and Materials to supply and track prototypes components
• Document and track status of open issues discovered in the assembly which include manufacturing work instructions, operator training, labor standards, etc
• Design basic fixtures that would be used in assembly process
• Develop and input manufacturing engineering data into Product Data Management system

This job might be for you if:

• 1 years towards a degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or similar
• Strong Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) skills
• Hands on experience with electrical wiring and mechanical assembly (preferred)
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming (preferred)
• Able to work with teams
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-starter, able to work independently
