Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate equipment such as Mig and Tig welding machines


• Operate gas torch, plasma torch, grinders, jib hoist, and overhead crane


• Maintain a clean, safe workplace


• Overtime commitment when needed


• Responsible for own work

 EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

• Weld certification desired but not required


• Able to operate all machines and tools in the department


• Able to pass a weld test


• Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic schematics is desired


• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical              aptitude is required


• Must be able to work with minimal supervision


• Must have good knowledge of weld symbols, processes, and procedures


• 
  Must be able to use jigs and fixtures to produce weldments          
  

EDUCATION REQUIRED:   High school grad or equivalent
