What you will be doing as a NOC Technician II - Physical Infrastructure:
Will be working in a 24/7 Service Support Centre.
Will provide 5G Tier II Infrastructure support with virtualized ORAN systems deployed nation-wide.
Will quickly analyze service and system issues, determine corrective actions, and implement steps to restore services, and will escalate complex issues to additional resources.
Will provide ticket information on the corrective actions implemented. Corrective actions can range from hardware resets to Network Function stop/restarts.
Will contribute to on-going process improvement reviews, identifying areas for automation and overall efficiency improvements to help increase service up-time and overall customer experience.
Provide Network/Transport and ORAN second level operational support to detect incidents, troubleshoot problems and implement resolutions within deployed Network/Transport and ORAN systems.
Engage and escalate issues with ORAN Tier III team when critical/time sensitive support and resolution is needed.
What you will bring to the table as a NOC Technician II - Physical Infrastructure:
3+ year experience in network operations, preferably in the wireless industry.
Advanced understanding of Network/Transport operations and configurations.
Experience with higher-level technology issues and troubleshooting to resolution.
Ability to span departments to assist in resolving network event outages.
Experience monitoring and troubleshooting wireless networks, related equipment and/or performance.
Ability to multitask, meet objectives and solve issues in stressful situations with a high speed of completion and a high degree of accuracy.
