Position Summary
Oversees and inspects job site construction activities and reports back to the appropriate Construction Manager. May monitor multiple projects at one time.
Duties and Responsibilities
Attends project related meetings such as design meetings, job conferences, contractor coordination meetings, pre-installation conferences and any other meetings as necessary.
Reviews specifications, construction and contract documents for construction, remodeling, and service contracts. Reviews all construction contract documents and provides comments on constructability, accuracy, and completeness.
Inspects work being put into place. Documents, reports, and tracks any concerns or deficiencies regarding quality, commissioning, and safety. Notifies the Construction Manager of any issues and perform follow up measures as needed.
Coordinates work activities with ERIE construction site superintendents, contractors, external construction managers, architects, engineers, third party inspection agencies and ERIE internal project teams, and ensure that third party project testing requirements are monitored
Coordinates and reviews the project site activities with the construction site superintendents to help resolve issues and provide feedback and advice.
Reviews job progress on a weekly basis as it relates to the contractor's construction schedule. Confirms status and report any areas of concern to Construction Manager.
Reviews application for payment requests and confirms that the work in place aligns with the work being billed.
Reviews and provide feedback on Change Order Requests as to legitimacy and accuracy by comparing requests to field conditions and contract documents.
Ensures that Daily Field Logs are complete. Reviews, tracks, prepares & submits various logs and information throughout the project.
Review of the project RFI logs and provide input with respect to on-site observations and field conditions.
Monitor submittals to ensure that the materials being installed have been submitted and approved prior to installation.

Monitor status of punch list items. Provide periodic updates on the status. Coordination completion with contractor(s)
Coordinates and as necessary attend site inspections of Design Professionals and Consultants and ERIE project team.
Takes and/or ensures that project photos are on file and able to be used to provide additional documentation of construction progress and quality.
Assists in planning for initial owner occupancy and monitor initial issues
Provides development suggestions for Construction Site Superintendents to the Director, Construction Management.
Monitors key project processes and deliverables, including but not limited to; commissioning agent activities, project closeout requirements as built and BIM process. Provides periodic updates on status to Construction Manager

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in ConstructionManagement and five years of on site construction supervision, including project monitoring, scheduling, estimating and blueprint reading, or;
Associates degree in a construction related curriculum and seven years of commercial construction supervision, including project monitoring,scheduling, estimating, and blueprint reading.
High School Diploma or GED plus ten years of construction supervision, including project monitoring,scheduling, estimating, and blueprint reading.
Travel to field offices to supervise facility projects required. Good driving record and valid driver's licenserequired.
