Essential Functions
Responsible for grants applications, including, but not limited to preparation of grants applications, and assisting with grants applications prepared by outside vendors.Responsible for all grants reporting, to required agencies, such as FTA, ODOTOffice of Transit, NTD, Congress, APTA, Auditor of State, agency auditors, other agencies and organizations as required or directed; on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.Conducting prospect research; assembling and submitting grant requests, including letters, proposals, budgets, conference calls, and presentations.Establish and maintain positive contact and relationships with both existing and potential funding organizations, contacts, and program officers.Write compelling, effective and well-written grant proposals based on agency guidelines and priorities ensuring error-free grant submissions.Make recommendations to executive management for contracting outside consultants for grant writing, if needed.Search potential funding organizations, and identify possible grant opportunities, as well as follow up on directed leads to grant funding.TIP/STIP Preparation modifications and budget amending.Responsible for SEFA preparations for grant related areas, audit and reviews for all grant related issues, and all other accounting oversight duties.Responsible to attend SCATS monthly meetings and annual reporting to MPO.Responsible to work with FTA and/or ODOT for funding issues.Convey necessary and current information to Grants Administrator to ensure accurate reporting.Other duties as assigned.
