We are seeking an Energy Solutions Performance Specialist to join our federal team at our Oak Ridge, TN ORNL/Y-12 National Security Complex office.

As a Energy Solutions Performance Specialist, you will:
Development of the Energy Savings Plans and coordination with the Development Team members to develop M&V plans and baselines. Reviews data collected and all calculations used to calculate savings for accuracy, ensuring that the calculation output and savings will be consistent and achievable throughout the life of the contract
Responsible for managing proposed M&V PSA delivery costs and timelines. Ensures quality control of M&V measurement, reporting and documentation. Leads the transition between project delivery and performance engineering phases. Establishes, tracks, and reports various performance metrics.
Develop and assist with execution of detailed system commissioning plans
Leads the transition between project installation and the support phase ensuring contract guarantee governance and acceptable risk mitigation strategies across the assigned geography or market, and initiates any required resource sharing with other areas and national teams. Includes responsibility for ensuring that detailed commissioning for complex systems is completed by responsible parties
Provide predictable outcomes of revenue renewal and growth by accelerating the ease of customer adoption and demonstrating the value of JCI products and services.
Maintain customer satisfaction by being a source of technical support for JCI products throughout the project support phase.
Onboarding new customers on how to get the most out of JCI products and services
Assisting customers as needed with setting up and navigating programs or software associated with JCI products and services
Facilitating service renewals by keeping track of end dates and providing appropriate follow up to ensure on-time renewal and service growth
Assist with small to medium size management of projects
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years experience in Measurement and Verification (M&V), Performance Contracting, HVAC, Controls, or Energy Management
Demonstrated knowledge of the standard performance contracting tools, processes, and measurement & verification protocols. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) & Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) certifications strongly preferred.
Strong process orientation, report writing, and written communication skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience
The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances as necessary. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing small-medium sized projects
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Federal Contractor Experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (MBA or other advanced degree preferred)
Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
