Communicate standards of excellence in the daily work assignments of assigned team in order to meet safe production as outlined by management. Standards should be communicated through stated goals, daily interaction, team meetings, and provide input on employee performance evaluations.
Essential Functions
Perform standard office duties, plant duties and operate mobile equipment
Establish and maintain effective communication within all areas of operation
Must make regular inspections for safety, housekeeping and mechanical issues
Implement and apply all safety rules, regulations and procedures of mine
Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately
Perform all other related duties as assigned
Work Environment
This job operates frequently in a maintenance and operations environment in an underground and surface mine location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, manual dexterity, repetitive motion, standing, sitting (must be able to sit for extended periods of time up to 8 hours), walking, climbing stairs, bending and stooping, and the ability to drive.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position that may requires long hours and weekend work.
Required Education and Experience
High School degree
Good understanding of MSHA and Environmental Regulations
