"A Day in the Life"

Provide support in maintaining the fleet of equipment at the facility. Duties may include general maintenance of boxes and tanks, basic mechanic work, welding or diesel mechanic work on tractors.

"What You'll Do":

• As tanks and boxes come off rent and into the yard, review for mechanical failures, cleanliness, general repairs, such as paint touch-ups, etc.


• Follow established procedures to issue either a green or red tag to tanks and boxes and report status to the Yard Foreman, Dispatcher or Operations Manager


• Follow direction from supervisor for specific day to day duties


• Complete paperwork timely and accurately


• Communicate status of the fleet on a regular basis to the management team


• Work with others or independently as directed


• Provide welding or mechanical support to fleet and vehicles


• May be required to go onsite at a customer location to lay down berms, conduct repairs on tanks and boxes and provide general service support

• Able to read, write and speak English well


• Able to use hand tools and power tools, drive yard vehicles, such as pick-ups and golf carts


• Ability to work a shift starting as early as 6:00 am and until 4 or 5 pm daily


• Ability to work overtime during the week and on-call various weekends to support growing business levels


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Work for long periods of time, outside in the elements


• Long periods of standing, lifting and walking


• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience


• 2 or more years general yard work or mechanical work with hand tools, automotive equipment and power tools


• Welding and diesel mechanic experience a plus
