This position supports the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening community. Implements and facilitates aqua wellness classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels. Effectively builds community within the class. Modifies class as needed to meet varied health, ability and cultural needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Physical Ed., Recreation, Sports Mgt., or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Must be able to swim.
AEA certification and/or a primary Group Ex certification with CECs in Aqua Fitness along with CPR/AED.
