The Production Clerk supports Operations by providing clerical support including data entry, filing, inventory control, work order management, report generation, etc. as requested by the Production Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Generate and distribute paperwork to Operators based on daily schedule requirements.

  • Perform accurate data collection and entry.

  • Gather, track, review, and close Work Orders and other daily paperwork.

  • Maintain accurate filing and document storage for data availability.

  • Assist Supervisors and team members with identifying material availability within the production site.

  • Assist with perpetual inventory control.

  • Identify ongoing training for Operations team members.

  • Assist with process improvements and updates for Production and ERP.

  • Provide clerical support for Supervisors and management as assigned.

  • Actively assist in safety and production-related investigations and document findings in report form.

  • Provide Quality department with updates on corrective actions; participate in internal audits.

  • Conduct situation analysis, reporting, problem solving; proactively communication with team members regarding issues.

  • Review and develop yield analyses, efficiency reports, KPI tracking, incident reports and hold forms.

  • Facilitate completion/correction of all production-related paperwork.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Serve as back-up for Production Leads.

  • This position requires the ability to work with dairy and nut products in addition to other related ingredients and allergens.

  • Safety Protocol

    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.

    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.

    • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:


  • Minimum one (1) year of related administrative experience required.

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Basic math plus fractions, decimals and percentages.

  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.

  • Able to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.

  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
